Another small patch going out today. In addition to some behind the scenes refactoring and improvements, the main user-facing changes are matchmaking improvements based on player feedback in this thread
- Algos with very high ratings are sometimes unable to find a match. After each successive failure, the range of ratings searched to find a potential partner will increase, so they will always find a few matches over time.
- The maximum rating change from a single game has been capped at the rating change from a match against an algo 400 points away from you in rating, the previous maximum search range. This is to prevent a large unexpected rating shift from a single game, especially in the edge case where a top player faces an algo with significantly lower rating
