Are genetic algo's allowed?

I was just curious, i’m working on a algo for season 2 and wanted to know if genetic algo’s were allowed.

I think you can do anything you want

You just have to take into account that an uploaded algo can’t evolve after a ranked match: the exact zipped folder you uploaded will be used for every match.

If you want to use any sort of algorithm that requires a training , you have to train it offline and upload the trained version for the competition

ok, i was just wondering. once im done actually coding it i was gonna let it train for a couple weeks and then upload it.

yep that’s a good idea

you can also search on the forum, a lot of posts have been made about ML
